New Stuff - Time to start sharing again ...

It's been a while, and I'm looking forward to sharing some of my new projects.  First, a kitchen that I photographed for Lobkovich kitchens, a designer that I worked with once upon a time in my previous life as an architect. 

Here is the final shot with a bit of light post in Photoshop to straighten converging lines and to clean up a few reflections. 

It was a pretty straight forward piece of work, so here I thought I would share a bit of the behind the scenes stuff. The trick here was to allow the ambient light sources to be seen but, because the light fixtures and the sun have two different color temperatures, not to really let them light the space.  That was accomplished with the strobes.  I used a three light set up: one main light high right where the windows were located and two lights to the left for fill - one low, aimed at the bar, one high to fill the corner of the frame.
